How to Make Spooky Lamb Pie With Glazed Carrot

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt for the pie crust. Cut in the cubed butter with a pastry blender or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Gradually add the ice water and mix until the dough comes together. Divide the dough in half and form two disks. Wrap each disk in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. In a large skillet, cook the ground lamb over medium heat until browned. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.
  5. Stir in the tomato paste and flour until well combined. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  6. Stir in the frozen peas and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Roll out one of the pie crust disks and transfer it to a 9-inch pie dish. Spoon the lamb mixture into the crust.
  8. Roll out the second pie crust disk and use it to cover the lamb mixture. Trim and crimp the edges.
  9. Cut a few slits in the top of the crust to allow steam to escape.
  10. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  11. While the pie is baking, prepare the glazed carrots. In a medium saucepan, combine the carrots, brown sugar, butter, water, salt, and pepper.
  12. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and glazed.
  13. Serve the spooky lamb pie with the glazed carrots on the side.

Enjoy your spooky and delicious meal!
