Ingredients of Honey Chilli Paneer
- 250 grams paneer, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, cut into cubes
- 1 small capsicum, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp cornflour mixed with 2 tbsp water
- Spring onions for garnish
How to Make Honey Chilli Paneer
- In a bowl, mix cornflour, all-purpose flour, and salt. Add paneer cubes and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the paneer cubes until golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
- In another pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and add chopped garlic, ginger, and green chillies. Saute for a few seconds.
- Add onion and capsicum cubes and saute for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add tomato ketchup, soy sauce, red chilli sauce, honey, and vinegar. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cornflour-water mixture and stir well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the fried paneer cubes to the sauce and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
