  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup red and green M&M candies

How to Make Christmas Brownies

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Once melted, remove the butter from the heat and add the sugar, stirring until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  5. Add the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
  6. Add the flour and stir until just combined.
