12 large mushrooms, cleaned and stemmed 1/4 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley Salt and pepper, to taste 2 tablespoons olive oil
Cook Time: 30 Min
Ingredients
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Brush the mushroom caps with olive oil and place them in a baking dish, cavity side up.
Fill each mushroom cap with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing it down lightly.
Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
Serve the stuffed mushrooms hot, garnished with additional parsley or grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
