How to Make Vegetable Manchow Soup
- In a bowl, mix the cornflour with 1/2 cup water and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large pot or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add onions, garlic, ginger, and green chillies, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the chopped mixed vegetables and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly tender.
- Add the vegetable broth or water and bring to a boil.
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, salt, and pepper and stir well.
- Gradually add the cornflour mixture while stirring continuously to avoid any lumps.
- Bring the soup to a boil and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
- Turn off the heat and serve hot, garnished with fried noodles.
