- 2 tablespoons rum
- 24 ladyfingers

How to Make Tiramisu
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until well combined. Add the milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let cool to room temperature.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
- In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and rum.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and place it in a single layer at the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Dip the remaining ladyfingers in the coffee mixture and place them in a single layer over the mascarpone mixture.
- Spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over the top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
