  • 1 block of firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 1 cup of uncooked rice
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of hoisin sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Stir-Fried Tofu with Rice

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the cubed tofu and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until lightly browned.
  4. Add the sliced red bell pepper, yellow onion, and minced garlic to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce and hoisin sauce. Pour the sauce over the tofu and vegetables and stir to coat evenly.
