Ingredients of Prawns And Fish With Chimichurri

  • 1 lb. prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb. firm white fish (such as cod or tilapia), cut into fillets
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

How to Make Prawns And Fish With Chimichurri

  1. Season the prawns and fish with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the prawns and fish until cooked through and slightly charred, about 3-4 minutes per side for the prawns, and 5-6 minutes per side for the fish.
  3. While the seafood is grilling, make the chimichurri sauce. In a food processor or blender, combine the parsley, cilantro, garlic, red wine vinegar, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Pulse until finely chopped.
  4. With the machine running, slowly pour in the olive oil and blend until the sauce is smooth and emulsified.
  5. Serve the grilled prawns and fish with the chimichurri sauce on the side or drizzled over the top. Enjoy!

This dish can be served with a side of rice or roasted vegetables to make a complete meal. It’s perfect for a summer barbecue or a weeknight dinner.
