Ingredients of Mushroom Noodles

  • 8 oz of noodles (such as udon or soba)
  • 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp of minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp of minced ginger
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms (such as shiitake or cremini)
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of sliced green onions

How to Make Mushroom Noodles

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 3-5 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly browned.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet or wok, along with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated in the sauce.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the noodles are heated through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
