Ingredients of Momo Manchurian

  • 20-25 momos
  • 1/4 cup cornflour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped spring onions for garnishing

How to Make Momo Manchurian

  1. In a small bowl, mix the cornflour with 1/2 cup water to make a slurry. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or a pan over high heat. Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, ginger, and green chillies, and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli flakes, sugar, vinegar, and salt, and stir well to combine.
  4. Add the momos to the pan and stir gently to coat them with the sauce.
  5. Pour the cornflour slurry into the pan and stir well to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
  6. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
