Ingredients of Momo Manchurian
- 20-25 momos
- 1/4 cup cornflour
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Chopped spring onions for garnishing
How to Make Momo Manchurian
- In a small bowl, mix the cornflour with 1/2 cup water to make a slurry. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or a pan over high heat. Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, ginger, and green chillies, and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli flakes, sugar, vinegar, and salt, and stir well to combine.
- Add the momos to the pan and stir gently to coat them with the sauce.
- Pour the cornflour slurry into the pan and stir well to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
