Ingredients of Veg Hakka Noodles
- 200 grams of Hakka Noodles
- 1 cup thinly sliced cabbage
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons chilli sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Chopped spring onions for garnishing
How to Make Veg Hakka Noodles
- Boil the Hakka noodles in a large pot of salted water for 3-4 minutes or until cooked. Drain the water and rinse the noodles with cold water. Toss the noodles with a tablespoon of oil to prevent sticking.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok or large pan over high heat. Add the garlic and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add the sliced onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
- Add the sliced carrots, cabbage, and bell peppers and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly cooked.
- Add the soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, salt, and black pepper and mix well.
- Add the boiled noodles to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the noodles are coated with the sauce and the vegetables are evenly distributed.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
