Ingredients of Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan by greasing it with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Mix well and press the mixture onto the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar and continue to beat until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the prepared crust and smooth out the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the centre of the cheesecake is set.
  7. Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
